As you may have noticed, this week we will be working on how authors use different figurative of speech to make their book more interesting for the reader.
Author's also appeal to the reader's senses. Have you ever read a book, where you can clearly imagine the cake sitting on the table. Author's do that on purpose, so you can sink in to the story.
Today, I would like for you to pay close attention to how your author writes the story and what senses are being triggered while reading the book.

MAGIC TREE HOUSE #21 CIVIL WAR ON SUNDAY (2 HR and 2 min) " He suffering from heat stoke.But we all need is some water,miss." (page 50) This is a example of Taste because I can Taste the smoke and that they need water.
