    Tell Them Who I Am ,(1 hr)
    In the book the main character volunteered for a homeless shelter called the refugee to "Help people how need it the most". This reminds me on how in the real world lots of people sign up to help homeless people to hopefully change someones life in a positive way.

    Magic Tree House #6 Afternoon in the Amazon

    This book reminds me of another book because its the Amazon forest from a long time ago and there is a lot of different animals like a fresh leaf ant. Bad fact: A fresh leaf ant can kill anything in its path, it was so close to killing Jack and Annie. I read a book about the Amazon forest, there were crocodiles and plankton's just like this story.

      The Amazon forest is a beautiful forest, sadly, day by day it is being destroyed and we are losing so much of the forest preserve, the animals, plants, etc.

    "better then perfect" by by Melissa Kantor.(1 hr)
    The book better than perfect reminds me of a T.V show called 13 Reasons why? During the First season of 13 reasons why it talked about a young high school girl named Hanna Baker and her family who goes through the same pain that Juliet felt about her mom. There both in high school. Going through that alone is not something you would want to be a witness or experience. Sadly this does happen but during these tragedy there family's are helping them get through it.

      Divorce can be detrimental for the life, especially if children are involved. For teenagers it can be difficult to understand, and it puts them in a hard situation since they have to pick where to live, the mother or father. I am glad you were able to connect the book to a TV show.

    " The Hate U Give" ( 1 hour ) reminds me of the movie " The Hate U Give" because The movie was based On the Book.

Hi everyone, So I have heard many of you guys would like to continue to post on our blog during the weekends. I am so excited to know that you guys are enjoying the time you are spending reading. For today, I would like for you try something new, take a challenge.  I would like for you to read in a new place today, for example, maybe you always read in the couch in your living room, today, take your book and read outside, in your room, in the kitchen, and briefly explain your experience.  Did you like reading in a new place? Write the title of your book, plus the minutes you read today. As you may have noticed, this week we will be working on how authors use different figurative of speech to make their book more interesting for the reader. Author's also appeal to the reader's senses.  Have you ever read a book, where you can clearly imagine the cake sitting on the table.  Author's do that on purpose, so you can sink in to the story. Today, I would like for you to pay close attention to how your author writes the story and what senses are being triggered while reading the book. Quote 3 examples, plus the page number where you found it.
